Snowglobe London

Was at the Italian cafe up the road for breakfast this morning. While we were there, the ten minute walk converted to a twenty minute walk – in three inches of snow. Last time it snowed, I got sore toes because none of my footwear was watertight – this time my new boots are up to the challenge.

The traffic is silenced. Everyone’s staying put, and for once the only sound is of kids snowballing each other. For a day or three, London is the countryside. No need to buy tickets to visit  Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park, it’s right on the doorstep.
