So I’ve got a new story out in an anthology inspired by 2012, complete with gorgeous Aztec artwork that I am guessing may have some connection to Aztec predictions for the end of the world in 2012… Hopefully this is not the kind of thing that will bring a hex on the authors of the book, or on its editor, Shane Collins. The concept for my story in this book grew out of a tiny piece I once had up on the Tate Modern website, a project that illustrious post-Apocalpyse maestro Jeff Noon was somehow involved with. I kind of thought this collection was not due out before 2012, but have just spotted it on Amazon.co.uk, where they have this to say:
Bursting with twenty-four eerie, hair-raising, fast-paced short stories of the Apocalypse, this anthology has it all. From alien invasions to acts of God, from plague, natural disasters and, of course, zombies, this collection has a bit of everything. With stories from award-winning authors Jo Cannon and Lane Ashfeldt and up-and-coming writers Danielle Rose and C. R. Rollinger. If you’ve ever wondered what would happen After the End, this anthology is for you!
